Adult Day Training Services
Through an activity-based approach, Adult Day Training services focus on employment skills, recreation and community engagement to provide individuals the skills and support to achieve their personal goals.
Pre-Employment Skills Training
Work-readiness and simulated work environments are available for individuals interested in future community-based employment
In the simulated work program, participants can earn a paycheck through Triumph Industries and on-site work groups. Individuals receive on-going coaching and training to increase their job skills.
Work-readiness teaches the skills needed to succeed in the workplace, including etiquette and safety. In addition to job-related training, participants receive coaching in social skills and guidance in improving their independent living skills.
Recreation and Community Engagement
Individuals looking for more leisure-based services can experience all that Jacksonville has to offer through daily excursions throughout the First Coast. Participants can look forward to lunching at restaurants, visiting museums and other cultural exhibits, volunteering with local nonprofit partners and more!
When not out in the community, participants are engaged in on-site activities promoting personal growth and education.
Referral Process
Contact the program manager to schedule a meeting and tour of The Arc Jacksonville location of interest.
The person seeking services should attend along with a family member(s) and/or support coordinator.
