Building Bridges to Better Lives

Established in 1956, The Arc of Space Coast helps adults with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities bridge the gap to a better, more productive, healthier and more joyful life.

Over six decades we’ve grown into an organization supporting up to 100 individuals each day in residential programs, day supervision, work skills and self sufficiency training and veterans programs in a positive, nurturing environment. We work in a collaborative capacity with all the other disability support agencies in Brevard County to make our community better.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to enriching the lives of adults with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities throughout our community.

We serve more than 100 individuals each day

20% of veterans have been diagnosed with PTSD

There are 300 homeless veterans in Brevard county

62% of adults with special needs have been at their current job for 3 or more years

1 in 4 adults in the US have a disability

40% of adults with special needs are unemployed

28% of adults with special needs have never held a job

The Arc of Space Coast has 47 adults living in our group homes
